Mince, home of shareables

So, Mince is probably one of the biggest burger places in Cairo right now, with great service and branches all over the place.

It’s definitely one of my favorite places to hangout and share an appetizer/dessert, especially that one of their branches is downstairs from work.

Their burgers are good, but no to compare to their appetizers, hotdogs & desserts, which personally I enjoy a lot more.

Now let’s get to it 🙂

1- Appetizers

Sweet potato fries, literally obsessed with these. Very few places make them, and none compare to Mince’s, served with their signature honey mustard dip.

Waffle potato bites, topped with hot cheddar sauce, bacon, minted yogurt & pickles. And yes, it’s as awesome as it sounds 🙂 a pretty dense dish, definitely something to share with a group.

Panko tenders (a.k.a. Fried chicken strips) your classic crunchy chicken strips,  consistent crunchiness and served with honey mustard dip

2- Sandwiches
As I said earlier, I prefer their “Haute Daugs” than their burgers, especially this baby right here, the BBQ & Bacon. Topped with caramelized onions, American cheese sauce & obviously bacon & BBQ sauce. You should also try their NYC one.

If you’re going to go for a burger, I recommend you try their Smoked Burger, it has caramelized onions (which I love on anything), smoked cheese and raspberry jam, yes freakin JAM! It adds a great sweet & sour taste, another thing I love

If you’re not into the whole sweet & sour thing, I’d recommend you go with the Mince original. Classic burger with American cheese, tomatoes, opinions, pickles & lettuce.

3- Dessert (in other words, ELVIS)

Elvis French Toast, talk about a signature. It’s basically crispy French toast topped with Nutella & banana slices, covered another crispy French toast slice, all topped with caramel sauce. Of course everyone goes crazy with their toppings, starting off with the vanilla ice cream (a must), and your choice of cookies or brownies, and of course more caramel sauce. This is definitely a shareable yet fighting over dessert.

And here you are folks, pretty much all you need to know next time you visit Mince 🙂
